Boat Lift Certification Achieved

June 2025 – Alba, Italy / Bali, Indonesia – Marina Development Indonesia (MDI) Technical Service Specialist, Morten, has successfully obtained certification for the operation of the BL220TL-90° DSC boat lift, a 220-tonne capacity unit designed for handling large yachts and superyachts.
The boat lift, manufactured by BOAT LIFT S.r.l., offers advanced features including Dynamic Steering Control (DSC) for precise maneuvering in limited marina spaces. Its telescopic frame adapts to different hull widths, enabling efficient vessel handling without extensive reconfiguration. Remote control operation allows for safe, accurate movement while keeping operators at a safe distance from the machine.
Certification of such equipment is a critical requirement in marina operations, ensuring adherence to stringent safety, structural integrity, and regulatory standards. It verifies load-bearing capacity, hydraulic performance, braking systems, and stability, while also fulfilling port authority, insurance, and maritime compliance obligations. Regular inspections and load-tests form part of the ongoing certification process, safeguarding operational reliability.
